6 Months!

Juliet's 6 months old.  I truly can't believe how fast this has flown by!  ... :(  Last I checked, Juliet's around 15lbs!, full cheeks like Jude, and umm very feisty still.  I still can not shower without her screaming at me.  I've noticed she thrives off her schedule, sleeps 6:30-6:30 straight now (!!!!), talks with different sounds, LOVES Jude, and is pure joy with me.  With others....run....I mean, I'm not sure they'd say the same :)  She's slow to warm currently.

 6 MONTHS!

Johns said "I think she's way cuter than Jude was"....HAHA. 

As for my Jude, he talks up a storm and has his own ideas that are hilarious.  I got him from his nap today and he said, "daddy went to store to get Jude cheese."  WOW.  I can't believe he remembered that! Pretty sure I told him that around 7 am.  But "Yes, Jude...cheese is here now" HA.  He still LOVES trains with a passion but I can always win his heart with a "new car."  He also loves puzzles.  I'm so thankful he's so great with Juliet.  Even if sometimes she has to be Monster Juliet, he's great about her always being in the action and occasionally grabbing his toys.  Such a great big brother.  He works hard to make her laugh with various animal sounds too. 

4 months!

Juliet is 4 months old!  Oh how she's grown.  She STILL screams while I shower daily, even though I've done this since birth. I mean you'd think she'd get the hang of it.  Nope, just stares at me with this evil eye...."Hold me or I'll scream louderrrrrrrrrr."  She STILL has an attitude about everything.  Ha.  But she did have a doctor appt at 4 1/2 month of age.  Juliet is 12.4 lbs (25th%), 24 inches (50th%), and 70th% for head circumference.  Ha.  Way to hit all the percentiles Juliet.  If you compare her to Jude, she is nearly 3 1/2 lbs lighter but the same length believe it or not!  Crazy.  Also, I'm assuming Jude's head was the same size.  But no really enjoying her.  She laughs a lot, smiles at me, enjoys me holding her, loves when I talk to her, and gets upset if I hold her looking at the mirror because she sees me and thus thinks I'm not holding her.  Ha!  She is truly.....that evil girl I knew all along.

In fact, sometimes I tell Juliet just how needy she is and John claims he's been living like that with a woman for awhile now.....Uma?  My favorite father daughter bonding time is when John goes and gets her and she screams louder.  It is so funny I can't help but laugh.  He'll tell you, too funny.  

   This is SO funny!  Jude vs Juliet at 4 months old.  Look at that chunk!  Often I think Juliet is identical to Jude though.  Very small differences. 

 

      3(left-11lbs) to 4(right-12lbs) months.  Have I posted this? I think I'm losing my mind with lack of sleep!

 He seemed interested.  Bottom line, interest does NOT equal ready.  For now, we have potty chair out, m & ms ready for "reward" and yeahhh.  Ever since I let him decide (very quickly after that night) he's peed by himself, without prompt, multiple times!  Sorta funny. I quit training and he's training himself!  Win-win. 

             She works out....her lungs :)  Juliet can now roll over both sides when placed on belly!

 I've picked up a new job!  Watching my sisters kids once a week!  They all have a blast together, it's so cute.  Of course my sisters kids were napping during this picture...and mine weren't...sigh.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!  Christmas has passed and the new year is coming soon!  Resolution?  Not sure, let me get back to you with that :P We had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.  We also caught another virus though and the boogers are still with us :)  It's amazing how boogers spread from the nose of a 2 year to eyebrows and hair.  YUCK.  Jude and Juliet, and John and I, were all spoiled though!  We enjoyed cookies, great food, presents, and having John off the entire week!  He even got up for me because Ms. Juliet has changed her sleeping once again!

3 months!

Well here we are!  3 months out!  My Juliet and Jude are 3 months older.  And 3 months is the golden month where life becomes easier.  Juliet is entertained by tv, Jude, bright lights, anyone talking baby talk to her, fans, shiny ornaments, cars, and sometimes Uma too!  Phew, those last 3 months were hard :)  I'm fairly confident she's developing nicely.  She talks all the time to herself or anyone, laughs!!!, and smiles.  Yes, she does ALL those believe it or not.  She just has to be in the right mood.  But I'm pretty good at finding that time.  It's funny to me.  It seems as though overnight babies decide "Oh tomorrow I will laugh so that mom loves me more."  Ha.  It's a cute little laugh!  Can't wait until she thinks Jude is funny!  She also does 360s all night long or on the floor "playing."  Crazy, she's really growing out of her "baby" look.  I'm beyond sad.  Why does this first year fly by! 

Jude is doing fantastic!  Obviously.  Getting every little bug known to man but hey, better now than when in "real" school right?  He's enjoying his hundreds of cars, trucks, and anything else with 4 wheels.  Loves going to school also!  Picking up things left and right from school...good things!! Well mostly.  He runs to his room and says "Bye mom" immediately!  Makes a happy mom mom.  That's my name these days.  Mom mom.  So I call him Jude Jude.  He's so funny with his little ideas.  "Daddy home daddy fix it, buy it Daddy home." Yep sure Jude.  Once when Juliet was crying, Jude walked up to her and said "Be Happy, Et."  Yep, be happy.  Ha.  It was funny.  He likes her.  His little phrases are so cute.  "Cars mom mom with you."  "I hold you"  So funny.

 3 months.  Juliet has moved into her room.  I'm beyond sad but it was great bonding with her for the first 3 months.  She adjusted just okay the first night.  She was up at 1, 5, and 6:30.....she normally goes 9-5.....

 Wow family date night of decorating the house.  It was....interesting.  Juliet wanted nothing to do with it and Jude was still sick so he was totally uninterested. 

                                                    Great Gma visit!

 Family date night!  Made John take us to the Wentzville Christmas Parade!  Jude saw a fire engine, police car, received candy, saw a school bus, and some other funny cars!  He enjoyed.
