6 Month Checkup!
Well, Cheeks is 19 pounds 2 ounces (75th), 26 inches (50th), and 44 (I think for head 75th). Perfect in other words. Got a lot of shots! Was not happy at all. Doctor said his head looks great! *Sigh of relief* I can actually start to live normally now, placing him on his back. Ha. Also said I can have him sleep 7-7 now. If I chose. Said best way to do it would be to let him cry. Yikes. I'm not too sure about this yet but I'll keep you posted on our decision. Also said we may be seeing some teeth soon :/

Going to the Zou!
Well on Saturday we had our first mini-road trip to Columbia, MO to meet up with Delana and celebrate a wedding! He did great, as I expected. We hit the road around 10 am, during his first nap, and I didn't hear a peek from him until I arrived. We had a great time! Great weather too! Here's what we did!

Do we have to go home?

So big...? Columns!

Quick workout on the Quad!

Picnic in the Quad.

Future Tiger? He seems to be having a great time :)

Sound of the water scared him!

Quick cat-nap before we go!
Had a great time! What else is new? A wedding almost every Saturday in May! All this means is that now John and I will push off fixing our "fort" another year because let's face it, by June it'll be hot hot hot! HA. No, I've started today, really. I anticipate it being done in a few months :)
Had a great first mothers day! Jude has his 6 month appointment tomorrow. Guesses on weight? I'm going with close to 21 pounds. We'll see! I hope all else is well though! Other than that, we've been chilling! Struggling in the middle of the night but great during the day. I'm about ready to give some tough love. Well see what Ped says Tuesday! Other than that, he is great at sitting up, he's VERY social with everyone (especially Eli), playing with everything, and is just too happy for me! HA. We've even resumed "mall walking" however, it's more like "mall sitting and laughing at boys!" They are too funny. Not getting much walking in besides, let's face it, it's just not that entertaining to talk stroller to stroller. They prefer to pull each others faces, clothes, you know, talk about life! I don't blame them :)
I had my 6 month review! It went great. I get to continue with the job and I got a 20% raise!!!!! What does this mean? I'm not exactly sure yet. But I did get to buy a new swimming suit! My other ones are umm too small up top and too big down below. John said it's really pointless to get a new one because once I stop nursing, my butt will get big and boobs small! Ha, okay he's partially correct. But every woman is entitled to a pre-pregnancy suit, pregnancy suit, and post baby suit! Ha, I have the sizes now! I'm planning on using it soon with this 90 degree weather! It's purple.
Well I gotta go, just a quick update. I'll update stats tomorrow :)
Cheers!

Short, fat, and NOT FLAT
I did it! Quick update, need to get to bed, yes at 8 pm. I have managed to reshape Jude's head!!! Thank goodness! Such a relief. I told John I saved us 1500 bucks so off I went to buy flowers Ha. But wow, I feel so much better. His head measurement went from a 7 down to a 3. I'm assuming a 0 is ideal. I'm not really sure about numbers or her system. Jude's number was a 91.4 or something. Before it was a 93. 5 or something. (the or something is after the decimal, not sure on that...) But she said they are looking for 90-91 and that's it. She was pleased, as was I! WOOHOO. We are going back for another check up in a month. So I suppose I have to do the same thing for another month which sucks! You'd be surprised by all I do really. It's quite awful. The kid is never on his back besides changing him. Even then, I do these crazy head exercises that he thinks are funny! HA. So here I am another month of reshaping :/
A real woman always keeps her house clean and organized, the laundry basket is always empty. She's always well dressed, hair done. She never swears, behaves gracefully in all situations and all circumstances. She has more than enough patience to take care of her family, always has a smile on her lips, and a kind word for everyone. I suspect that I might be a man.
So here's what we did the day we found out he does NOT need a helmet! And some extras!

He didn't even need the 100's of toys connected. I was enough entertainment!

This is how you fit a baby cold and flat head. At the same time!

Well someone would rather have me play with him then write currently. Cheers.

Snot sucker!
Go figure! Who would have known my baby loves the snot sucker. Did this multiple times, not a fluke he enjoys the sound it makes! Funny kid.
Well sadly, I am going to miss a very important night for John. I feel awful! I feel more awful for my baby though. He just can't breathe at night with his nose, sleep good or eat much for that matter. He was so tired, he actually slept in until 8 AM this morning. What a change for me. Hope he gets better fast. On a brighter note, by the time he's 2 he'll have all the colds possible in the world and never get sick again! Can't wait for age 2! Ha. Hope everyone has a fabulous Easter! Well touch base during the week!

What happens when your baby gets up at 4:45 AM
What happens when your baby gets up at 4:45 AM....?
1. You change him because he has peed through his diaper, sleeper, etc. Right I almost want a helmet so I can quit laying him to sleep on his side. He pees through the diaper NIGHTLY leaving me with an unhappy baby and wet bed. Ugh. Then he proceeds to scream louder because he hates being changed!
2. You drastically try to feed him and lay him back down gently.
3. You pee yourself because you know you'll have to go back in.
4. You go back in and turn on jungle Tv, praying for another hour.
5. You climb in bed nervously, hoping, praying, but secretly knowing.
6. You listen.
7. You breathe quietly.
8. You close your eyes.
9. You cringe and hear his cry.
10. You moan hoping to wake you husband up to get a little sympathy. (and may even shuffle the covers just a bit :)
11. You walk in, turn on the lights, look at him, and sigh.
12. You throw him in the jumper and explain that the sun isn't even up!
13. You let the dog out and then watch her come back in and go lay in bed.
14. You think, just this one morning, you wish you were the dog in the bed.
15. You turn on the coffee maker.
16. You realize you're making water; place coffee beans in the filter.
17. You continue to talk about the world sleeping while you pour coffee.
18. You realize you got the creamer mug and not a coffee mug.
19. You think "cool, the spoon fits perfectly in the spout, look what I found out."
20. You spill coffee all over (spout) and realize how NOT COOL that spout is.
21. You look out front door, hoping to see life, but smile when you see sunrise instead.
22. You take picture of sunrise.

5:15 AM.

4:53 AM.
22. You go back to wondering what you can do different to sleep till 7 or even 6:30, heck 6 is fine now.
22. You get a shower in, dishwasher unloaded, load of laundry done, breakfast (both baby and me), and update blog all before 9:30 AM.
23. You think "CRAP it's only 9:30 AM?" Feels like 3:30 PM.
24. You sigh and go on.
25. Wish us luck today.
Well these are pictures from the other day! Too cute right :)

Count the Rolls!

Splish Splash I like taking a bath!
