This week has been busy.  In a good way.  I'm starting to get anxious about No 2.  I say I'm ready but you can never be ready....But I guess we are....Like John said, "No I'm not ready, but excited."  That's a great way of putting it.  I don't know what I was talking about the other week with sleep.  Forget it!  Not happening, can not get comfy, No 2 hurts, my belly itches, Jude randomly cries in middle of night, sigh...Really, I know this sounds crazy but I think the 2 straight hours I'll get with No 2 here will be better than this.  I literally toss for hours....or watch tv.  Thank goodness for Friends 3-5 am.  And thank goodness for those fabulous pregnant shows :)  Haha.

Jude had a GREAT second day!  (as did I hehe). Don't worry I won't show you everyday :)
This was MY second day.  I'm so spoiled :)
                                                                     FELT AMAZING.

Then we had lunch outside at Breadco.  YUM.
I'm spoiled rotten, thank you!  Well...me and Baby Meyer (and John and Jude :)
                                                                  Supporting....hehe.
                                                                   Now that is focus.
4:00 pm.  What are your children doing?  Jude is bathed, on couch, relaxing after a school day while No 2 is tossing and turning....
38 Weeks!  Finally....I feel as though I can say "any-day now" when people ask when I'm due :)

After doctor, we met up with Reardon's for some fun!

                                                                              Ready! GO!
SO excited to ride the "plane!"
Oh right, forgot this one...Jude weighing in around 27lbs!
                                                                                 Pizza!
                                                                    A little Skee Ball!
There were FOUR in the bed and the little one said, "Roll over"
Just having a sucker at 8:30 am.  What?

Auntie Stacie spoiled him....Darn.  Now I guess I'll have to bring quarters....

OK, that concludes this week!

17 Days...

Today was bittersweet!  Jude had his Mother's Morning Out today!  9-2.  What a big boy now!  I tried to prep, as much as you can prep a 2 year old, that I will be leaving him with strangers for an extended period.  Ha.  I just hope with time he adjusts!

So here's how it went!

Pointing to the trashman!  Not school....trashman :)
                                                                God Loves People Art.
Awe, so sad to read he was sad :(  But hey he enjoyed recess....who wouldn't?
No problem walking into the school!

Has NO idea what's going to come....

Quick after school "cheese" and snack!
                                                                      He insisted.

So here's how the day went!  Dropped him off at 9 am. He quickly ran to the cars and toys thrilled.  I asked my questions, hung up his bags, got things all out that were suppose to be out, and then said bye.  At first he looked at me and said "Bye" but then followed me with an unsure face.  Not a full out scream but tears :(  I however, skipped out to get my hair cut!  After driving for 15 minutes, I realized I was not only "looking" for "big rigs" on the road to point out, but also that I was listening to Barney's greatest hits.  Sad.  Nice labor hair cut is good to go now though!  Then ran to Target with my mom where I nested and bought random but extremely necessary items like tissues, Twizzlers, and toilet cleaner.  Then we made our way to Breadco where we pretty much just sat for 2 hours talking about Fiber bars.  What a way to kill time! :)  It was perfect.  I picked him up about ten minutes early.  He was thrilled to see me!  But not overly clingy.  He walked out like a big boy and all!  He is VERY tired now but happy to be home!  I anticipate an early bed time and may be looking forward to a longer nap tomorrow....all to which I approve of!  Well see how Thursday goes!

18 days...

Trying to pass time.  Went to the park with Rachel and Eli!  Good times.  NO one there!  So nice.  Of course, the slides were a tad bit wet :/  But we still managed to have fun!  Now doing nothing for the rest of day.  Oh and we ran to Target this am!

Giving Dad good luck kisses!  They lost :(
Probably illegal to post the license plate and all....umm disregard that.  I find it funny that I ALWAYS seem to park by these cars/vans/suvs....4 FOUR boys then a girl.....YIKES.

Okay that's all for today!

19 days left...

Oh no.  Uma is now a parking lot....sigh. At least she plays along?
Watching Daddy play ball with some of the fans.

Well if you wonder how active No 2 here....still pretty active, just giant now.  More so slow, painful movements.  Hints me having my hand placed under/by my ribs the whole video.  Yes, it slowly moves by belly button making it disappear!  Eww my outtie!

Well my braxton hicks are picking up the intensity, which can only be a good sign.  Other than that, cleaning the house :) That's all!

37 Weeks!

Booya!  37 weeks!  FULL TIMEish.  I am fine with baking a few more weeks now.  I'm starting to get sad thinking it'll never be the same.  Never be just us 3 or just me and Jude during day.  Don't get me wrong, thrilled to have No 2 finally here, find out who it is, braid HER hair, but yeah.  I'm pretty sure it's all normal at the time point.  Starting to sleep better.  That actually worries me.  Ha, I almost prefer to have awful sleep so that the adjustment to being up is easier. Never mind, I take that back :)  Guess it'll all fall into place!  Enjoying Jude "sleeping" in now and getting some much needed rest.  But man, by the end of the night, my back kills me!  I guess it's from playing with Jude all day and holding him.  I don't recall back pain with him.  But at this time, with Jude's pregnancy, I recall eating/craving donuts and sweets.  I think I still crave those, I just refrain from even attempting to eat (most times :)

                                                               That's a big fat belly!
Hmm a tad higher than Jude...Drop baby drop!

This time with Jude we had our last ultrasound. He was 5 lbs 10 oz so I'm assuming this one's around there...?

Doctor Appointment Update 37 weeks
Blood pressure good: 120/74
Peed in cup and made the shot: Check
Weight: 120
Height: still 5'3 sigh
Baby heartbeat: 145s
1 cm down, 9 left.
Measured: 32cm  Head down!!!

This is from Jude's entry (pregnancy):
Baby Update:
Close to 7 pounds now and 21 inches long! (Edit...most likely not quite that big yet or tall...) Baby swallows that amniotic fluid (which tastes sweet like chocolate long johns duh (Edit, hahahaha, which tastes like oyster crackers and oatmeal) and some of it wind's up in his/her intestines where it-along with other shed cells, bile, and other waste products-will turn into our baby's first bowel movement! NOT IT JOHN! HA, I called it! (Edit, John this STILL applies) Lungs are maturing more and that's about it. Fetus is STILL moving like crazy, taking my breathe away, and driving me nuts! Hiccups are still in the butt! I told my doctor I need to be fatter so that I don't feel these kicks b/c they hurt bad now!!!! Psh, decrease in movement. Yea maybe in me but NOT in fetus :)

Now on to Jude.  Oh my, the kid cracks me up now.   Of course he mainly does his talking with me at home but believe me, the kid likes to talk!  He is so funny.  Here are some of our latest conversations.

Me: "Jude, we're going bye bye, go get your socks and shoes."
J: "Bye bye?  Socks.  Where at?"
Me: "In your room like always."
J: "Room!" Then runs to room with his hands up!  He's still really into naming everything by colors...

It's just funny that he is comprehending what I am saying.  Too bad his shoes where hidden in the closet...

Last night:
Me: "Jude, I can't read anymore because it's too dark.  It's not light out, it's dark."  (We're working on some opposites).
J: "Light...on please." Points to the light.  WOW.  He cracks me up!  I think I actually laughed out loud to which he did also.  No, I didn't turn on the light (too bright), but I may have read that book one more time :) He is reading along with me too.  And by along with me...I mean I have read this library book 102938 times so he knows what Elmo says... "Achoo"  I encouraged him to say "achoo" instead of me and he did about half the time! So cute.  I love him!

This is his "happy, excited face"...he may have got that from me....
Went to the festival with my mom and Carol!  Loved his balloon!

I gave in and treated him to a bath in the Jet Tub!  He LOVED it, unfortunately, when No 2 comes, a piece of plywood will be covering the tub and a bouncy seat will be on top. Yeaaaa, that's how I showered, crazy I know.  Don't worry totally safe :)  So probably a bad idea to do this.  Sigh.

Nothing like a back to school haircut with a hairy sucker!
                                                                    "Hi daddy, luv you"
OUCH.  No 2 doing the box step...?

Jude had his open house for his Mothers Morning Out!  He walked in smiling and SO thrilled to see the toys.  A lot I recognized :)  But the "teachers" smiled and said "Oh hi!"...I said "Yea, you won't have a problem with him he'll love this!"  He immediately branched out looking at all the toys bringing the ladies blocks, etc.  I'm so lucky he's so easy going like this!  John and I are both excited!  His teachers are sweet and the playground looks awesome!  We had a brief parent meeting where the kiddos played (without us)!  All went well.  He was playing by himself when we walked in drenched in sweat!  Guess it was fun!  Can't wait to see how his first day goes next Tuesday!  I also can't wait!  Haircut scheduled and then lunch with my mom!  Gotta take advantage of being "single" before No 2 arrives!  I'm pretty lazy now so I'll have to post his day and schedule next week :)

Cheers.

August 20th (yesterday)

36 weeks and 3 days (I believe)...I just wanted to report that my belly button has FULLY  popped out.  GROSS!  I won't post a picture.  BUT does this mean I'm fully baked?  The timer has gone off?  Baby time?

36 weeks, the NINTH month

Because I'm 9 months pregnant now, we parked here.  :)

So I have noticed my energy has picked up!  Well some days at least.  I still have pajama days quite often :) I have been going out (a bit) and not feeling awful!  Wahoo!  AND...knock on wood, I can sleep.  And by sleep, I mean I do not toss and turn for hours only about an hour, then pee 3-5 times, but then by 3 am I don't get back up!  Which is a huge improvement!  I would much rather be getting up with a purpose, baby, instead of feeling the urge to pee.  Guess with time!

Cravings.  Absolutely anything!  You name it.  Sometimes I splurge because hey I'm pregnant, I'm entitled to right....?  Then may regret later.  Ha.  Lately instant oatmeal and oyster crackers have hit the spot.  Right odd right?  BUT really...so delicious.

So wow, only a few more weeks.  It has been a fast but long, easy but awful, crazy but joyful pregnancy thus far.  The first 25 weeks flew.  I felt great, looked decent, then boom 26 weeks and started feeling bad.  That part made up until this time long.  Easy early on, challenging now.  It's hard moving around with a bowling ball in front of you :)  Awful....well fire vomit, real vomit, lack of sleep, lack of food intake, etc but totally worth it I know! AND if this child does not come out with hair I can braid, be boy or girl, I may cry.  Seriously.  I want a head of THICK, LONG, BLACK hair.  So I welcome you last few weeks.  Let's get this show on the road!  :)

A little recap for Debbie :)  With commentary :) Don't forget I have almost every week documented...if you want different ones...

"OH crap!  I think I may be pregnant!!" --John Meyer this is NOC :)

"Yep, the first month-I got the flu at one point..."

"The start of 3rd month, 12 weeks. Jude not thrilled."

"16 weeks, start of 4th month"

                                               "WOAH, we're half-way there!!!!! 20 weeks"

"24 weeks, start of 6th month"

"28 weeks, start of 7th month"

"32 weeks, start of 8th month!"

"36 weeks, start of NINTH, and FINAL month!"
"Side view, baby is A LOT lower than Jude's ninth month pictures...just saying :) "

This is what I "go by"...sorta. Ha.

Had doctors appointment on Thursday and will until DD.

Our last week....
                                                                       A true rocker.

I told him it's time for dinner....He insisted on sharing with his new cars.
New cars.  Never gets old, just amazes me.

I slaved over a hot oven to make these....Only lost 3-4 in the making too :)  For John's work shower, not all me.
John and I are spoiled.  New double, umbrella stroller.  It's like the Escalade of strollers.  I'm still finding new features.  Now, I really want to use it!!!!

                                                                   Just lounging around.

At this I was watching him right? Best part is when he puts his ear to the outlet to say "hello" HAH.
Ahh, we're all settling down for bed now.  Sigh.  I need this evil child OUT.

Cheers!
